Students and teachers of St Joseph's Eng. Med. Hr Pry School, Sagar, visited Bethany Mother House, Founder's Cottage, St Sebastian's Church, Bendur, and Founder's Tomb in the church. Sr Rose Celine BS, the President of Bethany Educational Society, blessed the students. It was a thrilling experience to visit the place where our Fr Founder RFC Mascarenhas lived and worked for Bethany Congregation and Bethany Educational Society. Sr Hilarita BS explained the origin of Bethany and the holy life of RFC Mascarenhas elaborately. We consider it a great privilege to have visited and prayed at his tomb and received his blessings.
We remain grateful to our Headmistress, Sr Adolfa BS, who gave us this opportunity, and to Sr Rose Celine, Sr Sandhya, Sr Hilarita, Sr Clemency, and other Sisters who spent their precious time with us. We felt as if we walked on holy grounds where the sacred man walked and left his footprints. Indeed, it was a visit to the Holy Land.
