As part of the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of the BES the staff of Gulabi Higher Primary School, Bengaluru, went on a pilgrimage to the Founder’s Cottage in Bethany, Mangalore, on 27-01-2023 and paid their tribute to the servant of God RFC Mascarenhas. The 32 staff members of Gulabi accompanied by the Headmistress of Gulabi Sr Severine BS were received by Sr Shanthi Priya BS - the Assistant Superior General, Sr Dona BS -Superior of Mother House and Sr Bonita BS

Sr Shanthi Priya gave a glimpse of the history of Bethany. The visitors were also given a guided tour to the Founder’s Cottage by Sr Dona; she explained about all the artefacts that were preserved and aesthetically displayed. It included the vestment worn by the Founder, his letters, the books that were authored by him as well as old photographs which transported everyone to a bygone era.

The visitors met Sr Roselyta the BES Treasurer in the BES Office. The visit concluded with the distribution of sweets and fruit juice. It was an overwhelming and well cherished experience to the staff of Gulabi which has left an everlasting, positive impression in their minds.
