Elizabeth, 61, was admitted to Fr Muller’s Hospital, Mangalore on 8th March 2021. On 13th March she underwent brain surgery for aneurysm. She was making very slow progress, with a stroke on her left side. She was totally incapacitated to move, speak, or have her food for four months after the surgery.
Despite the regular medication and utmost care, there was hardly any progress till I prayed through the intercession of the Servant of God Raymond Mascarenhas between 3 and 3.40 every morning during the past two months.
On 6th August 2021, Elizabeth began to talk, have her food through her mouth, while all along she had nasal feeding. We were surprised to hear her recalling her past life. She showed keen interest to walk and do the exercises so that she could get back to normal life. She has begun reading and writing too. Her memory is back to normal.
It seems to me, that it is a miracle of love due to the intercession of the Servant of God Raymond, to whom I intercede with faith and devotion as I recite the prayer the Bethany Sisters had given me.
Elizabeth's recovery has not only surprised us, her family members but also her surgeon, Dr C. K. Ballal who has been treating her and monitoring her progress. May Mgr Raymond Mascarenhas be raised to his well-deserved position of sainthood soon! Amen.
