Sub: Favours Received and Testimony
Peace of Christ with all of you. I am Stany D’Souza from Udupi. In February 2020, I came to India from Kuwait on leave. In March, Covid became rampant. All flights got cancelled and I was stuck in India for 20 months. In the meantime, my visa expired.
Our ways are not God’s ways. He is having a divine plan for all of us. In twenty months, I recollected my past and read a book, If Only I Knew… on Mgr RFC Mascarenhas by Mr James D’Souza of Bangalore. This book opened my soul and I remembered how this great parish priest of Bendur Church helped my family when we came to Bendur parish as migrants.
I wrote a testimony in the Compassionate Pastor of July 2020. In this month my desperation turned into joy. My money was blocked in Muscat. Through the intercession of the Servant of God, RFC Mascarenhas, my company gave me a 21-day visa. I went to Muscat and collected all my dues of 38 years.
My son was very insecure in his job. Almighty God provided him with a new job. Every morning my wife and I recite the prayer for the Beatification of RFC.
After I collected my dues and solved other problems, I came to Bethany to thank the heavenly Father and Mgr RFC.
I met Sr Miriam and she helped me to pray in the Perpetual Adoration Chapel and showed me the main chapel where I served as an altar boy in the years 1965, 1966, and 1967 and told Sr Miriam that a forgotten priest of my birth parish has done wonders in my life.
With his intercession he has given me and my family, to you Bethany Sisters and the Bendur parishioners, past and present, a better tomorrow. I make an earnest appeal to Bendur parishioners to pray through the intercession of the servant of God RFC Mascarenhas. He is surely interceding on our behalf to our heavenly Father.
Let us pray earnestly that he may be raised to the honours of the Altar.
