Sr Cynthia, the Director of Bethany Sanjivini Centre had taken us to Mangalore for a study and spiritual tour from March 28, 2011 to March 30, 2011. We saw the photographic display of the achievements of the Founder of the Bethany Congregation SD Raymond as well as the activities of the Sisters. We also visited the Founder’s cottage and spent some time in silent prayer, trusting in God and raising our supplications to Him through SD Raymond. I prayed with great faith in God, especially for my husband who had left me ten years earlier so that he would return to me and I placed my prayer request in the box for intentions.
After we had returned to Guledgudd, the Sister took me to Hubli to look for my husband; and being told by his friends that he was away, we returned. After some time we went to his house once again, but no one there was of any help. Without losing faith, I said the prayer given by the Sister for the beatification of the Servant of God Raymond Mascarenhas, and offering flowers, prayed daily to Jesus and Mother Mary through the Servant of God Raymond.
One day, thanks be to God and the Servant of God Raymond, my husband phoned me for the first time after all these years and returned to me. Now we live happily together and I am expecting. I request your prayers so that my child may develop well in the womb and I deliver without any difficulty or problems.
I, Danamma P Devanal am a Lingayat serving at the Bethany Sanjivini Centre. I offer my praises and prayers to God through the Servant of God Raymond Mascarenhas. I humbly request the Bethany Congregation to pray that God grant us and our family His blessings and graces so that we live together as a happy family.
